Indie distributor The Orchard acquired North American rights to "State Like Sleep," a new thriller starring Katherine Waterston, at the Tribeca Film Festival this week. The film will be released theatrically and across digital platforms this winter. Written and directed by first-time helmer Meredith Danluck, the film follows an American photographer in Brussels, investigating the circumstances around her husband's death in a journey through the city's underground clubs. Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Michiel Huisman, and Mary Kay Place also star. Read more at Variety.
