Magnolia's "In the Fade" Captures Foreign Film Golden Globe

At Sunday’s 75th Golden Globe Awards ceremony, Magnolia Pictures took home the award for best foreign language film with the German drama In the Fade. The film premiered at Cannes last year and garnered Diane Kruger the Best Actress award at the festival as well as some career-best notices for her performance. The film follows a mother dealing with the aftermath of a neo-Nazi terrorist attack which kills her family. In the Fade is one of nine films on the shortlist for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film this year; those nominations will be announced on January 23.
